This place is a great deal - simple, clean rooms, safe, and in a good central location for much of the LA area. It's definitely a budget hotel but for that range it is on the cleaner side and it was well worth it. The video front desk thing is a little strange but actually pretty efficient. The free coffee machine was pretty decent as well in a pinch. The only negative was that parking was paid (standard in LA) and then when a friend wanted to visit it cost even more, even for just a couple of hours.

Room was dated but clean enough. Service staff was nice and responsive. Beds were comfortable but very skimpy on pillows and blankets. Microwave and fridge were appreciated as well as coffee and flavored water in the lobby. The coffee was actually good! Good location.
