It did the job. I wanted a hotel with a water view. Our room was clean and you could consider it updated but for $1500 for 4 days seemed a bit steep for that type of hotel. It’s a great spot on the water but don’t expect fancy. The hotel is old and there are carpets in the hallways that stayed dirty. I don’t think it was a lack of employees doing their job though. All the employees were great hardworking people. Those carpets need to go.

Internet was fine. Towels in room abundant. Breakfast was a disaster. Was told there was yogurt and fruit...Nope..no milk in carafes for cereal and decaf coffee urn was empty. When i told the girl working there she had a little bit of an attitude. Rugs in hallway were dirty and stained. Hopefully soon this hotel will do some renovations because at over $200.00 a night is totally ridiculous

There was hair and eyelashes in the bathroom sink when I first walked in. I grabbed a towel to wipe it down and there was hair on the towel. When I pulled the nightstand out to plug in a phone charger, there was so much dirt, hair and lint back there.

We’ve stayed at a number of places in Fort Pierce and St. Lucie and The Hutchinson was one of the nicer ones. Beds were good, wi-fi okay, and everything worked well. Basic breakfast included in room cost. Washer and dryer on location. A couple of fun restaurants that are walkable. The best parts were the hotel’s small pool, private beach and fishing pier and the covered deck…great places to sit and relax. We’d stay again.

Very old, no hot tub, they charged $17 for self parking, (these two items posted on your site) and was a couple of reasons why we booked. Bed mattresses very old with one side of the mattress indentation, felt springs. I will not go back

The property was in need of an update. There were visible stains on ALL the carpeting. There was visible mold in the bathroom. The walls need to be repainted. The sheets, blankets & towels were very thin, again need to be upgraded or replaced. In addition, upon check-out, we were charged a $15 plus tax, resort fee for each day! There were ZERO special amenities to qualify this as a resort! When I reviewed the fees I paid when booking, I see I already paid a property fee, so they basically double charged us for that fee! We do NOT appreciate that at all! Breakfast was ok but they were often running out of items and if you didn't go ask at the front desk, they would not replenish anything! Not the best place to stay and the cost INCREASED when they added the "resort fee!"

We stayed here because it was suggested by Jackie Robinson Training Complex we played a tournament at. I’ll start with the positive. The location is nice because you can fish off the dock and the area is ideal for kids. However, the rooms are disgusting and the pool area was even more disgusting. Our room was dirty and outdated. Mildew around the sink, bathtub did not drain during a shower, hair on the ceiling, crappy bedding and two different sized beds. It’s like the place was pieced together with whatever furniture they could find. The nerve to charge what they are charging per night is robbery. Hot tub was green and slimy. I wouldn’t let my kids in it after the first day. They put an out of order sign after one of the team parents complained about it. Hotel staff is rude and not helpful at all except the woman behind the desk. She was the only helpful person. I asked for my room to be cleaned after being there for 3 days and got an attitude. If you are playing at Jackie Robinson and MLB suggests this place to stay at, steer clear. Find another place on the beach or stay closer to the complex.

They said they would call us when our room was ready but they never called. We had to check with the front desk. Floors were dirty as were the carpets in the hallways. The hot tub did not look clear and clean. The breakfast was good.
