We always enjoy our stays at the Heldrich Hotel. Check in was efficient and very welcoming.
A couple of things:
The sheer part of the curtain was shredded. It should be replaced.
The door lock did not close.
Why was there no channel for looking at one's account, hotel information or in room checkout function?
Why is it the hotel's policy to charge a customer when one cancels a stay, especially when it is done a month ago? In addition, I immediately rebooked our stay; adding an extra night for our stay. I'm grateful that Expedia gave me the refund.
We've always stayed at the Heldrich when we visit New Brunswick for a concert at the State Theater across the street. As much as we like the hotel, the nearby theater and restaurants, we might consider staying elsewhere in the future. It'll be the hotel's loss of two good customers. Lastly, it might not be the hotel's responsibility, but we saw more homeless people in the park; some of them approached us for money entering and leaving the hotel.
