The hotel itself is fine and the staff were friendly.
However, I had an uncomfortable experience while waiting for food at the bar. A homeless individual who appeared intoxicated entered the lobby and approached me asking for money. The staff then gave him food, which suggested this may be a regular occurrence, as he didn’t even ask for it. He drank from the fountain and left his glass behind, showing no regard for the staff or other guests.
I understand the employee was trying to be kind, but allowing and encouraging this kind of situation in a hotel lobby is not appropriate. It creates discomfort for guests and raises concerns about hygiene and safety, especially when dealing with individuals under the influence who could potentially become unpredictable.
