Quaint, economical but also charming. Good place for couples on a budget. Even better for people on a fishing trip. You can literally walk out of your room and cast a line into the channel. Saw a few people catching fish. You can even dock your boat in the channel as well. Just be sure to make arrangements with the staff, if your arriving after check in hours. I would definitely come back.

Best deal I found and they provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup remover wipes, hand soap. Have 2 pools and nice dock area for parking your boat or just sitting. Also a fish cleaning station with water hose (hose had some leaks around the sprayer at the end but worked fine). A great location for exploring the upper keys. Two pools to chill out by and even had a swim in the creek. There's a small bar a couple of minutes away that did freshly cooked bar snacks and a good array of b eers. The place is a little 'tired' but served our purposes well. We had a room creek side and couldn't hear the road. Not much infrastructure nearby but you would have a car anyway. Next to the bar is a paddleboard and kayak hire place, didn't use it but would next time.

Rooms are ok hot water was hard to come by even after maintenance came and looked at it. It was great for the price. The employees were nice plus it’s right on the canal we saw manatees and dolphins swimming in the canal. Canoeing is just a couple doors down and a great time.
