Baseball Retreat

Lots of noisy unsupervised kids running around the lobby. Fortunately the room was quiet. Rainy day and the ceiling had a leak and a panel in the lobby. fell down. Water poured through and staff got busy right away trying to use buckets to catch the water and clean up the mess! Rooms could use some refurbishing. Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on the food.

Don’t stay here.

I’ve stayed at cleaner hotels for 1/2 the price. There was miscommunication during check in that required a change of rooms during my stay which caused a lose of money due to the fact that I had bought food for the 2 nights we were there that required refrigeration that in turn had to be thrown out. The pool had so much chlorine it burned my eyes like I have never experienced. The breakfast was good and the location of the hotel was also great.

Pool was murky- couldn’t see your feet. Hairballs all over the floor which is foul. Elevators were in poor condition, especially flooring. Our television was broken, the handle to our bathroom sink was broken, the door to the bathroom was broken.

The good and the bad

There were about 20-25 kids that ran and played very loudly all day until 10-11 at night in the lobby. They were very loud and we were inside our room. There was loud rumbling both nights in the walls and I later found out it was because the pipes had broken in several rooms. I called the front desk, went to the front desk and messaged on the app for face towels Sat morning. I never received them. I however received a text 45 mins after we checked out that they were on their way up with the towels. Went to the bar for the complimentary drinks. The bar tender took one look at us without even asking anything and said you are in the wrong place. Free drinks are over there. He was loud and we were very embarrassed. The positive to this stay that check in was very quick and easy and Yvette was a delight. Very friendly. Also Matthew was very helpful and friendly at check out. The room was beautiful and clean

Disappointing

I have heard good things from others about Embassy Suites, but this stay was disappointing. The room was in disrepair with worn out furniture, mold in the bathrooms, and stains on the walls and lampshade. The only upside was the breakfast was great and staff was very friendly.

Check Remotes

The two tv remotes never worked and the fridge only worked the last night i was there. It seems that it was unplugged. However, after the technician left, it made a continuous noise that never let up. That's probably why the last person unplugged it. The staff, however, was excellent and very cordial !!

Overall very disappointing

On first impression the hotel was beautiful, I was very pleased upon initial impression, but that didn’t last long. To begin, they checked us into a dirty room, there were dirty towels and trash everywhere. I was able to get a new room, I didn’t let that bother me, mistakes happen and it was quickly resolved. I had reserved 2 nights on two separate reservations because we decided to come a night earlier, so when checking in I was sure to ask if it was possible for us to be in the same room both nights and was assured that it wouldn’t be a problem. With this information, we got comfortable in the room, unpacked our things and ordered food for the couple nights we would be there. Come the next morning, on our way out to our plans for the day, I stopped at the front desk to make sure we were still ok to stay in the room. They said we would be moved to a different room and the hotel was full so they could not accommodate that. So, we had to repack everything and load it back in the car and waste food that was bought because we didn’t have a cold place to store it. Then bring it all back in at the next check in time later that day. This was very frustrating considering we had 3 small kids and would not have done as much to get comfortable previously if I would have just been told to begin with that we wouldn’t be able to stay in the same room. The hallways were extremely messy at all times, I have stayed at places for 1/2 the price that were better at cleanliness.

Clean; but broken down beds.

Our room was clean and had everything needed, the lobby and breakfast area were clean, breakfast buffet was fresh and tasted great. Beds were terrible. Both had large indents in them where they were broken down which led to decreased sleep and pain.

No Frills Place to Stay

Picked this place based on the photos, the name, Embassy Suites, and the price point. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had adequate space for our toddler to run about. In general, the hotel is dated in appearance. The lobby has a water feature that I imagine was nice, but was not operational. The elevator flooring has holes in it that show the subfloor and the buttons sink into the wall when pushed. Our room was lack luster considering the name “two room suite.” Many of the TV channels were pixelated, or said “scrambled or weak signal.” Two of the 6 lamps in our room didn’t work. Half of those that did work had a different temperature color bulb than the others. Our thermostat was never set to higher than 60F and the room never got colder than 74F. This was in March, outside temp was in the 30s. The sofa cushions have lost their fluffiness- if you sit on it and put your feet on the ottoman your feet are higher than your bottom. Breakfast…. It was hot and on the surface looked nice. The self serve hot options included eggs, waffles, sausage and potatoes. There was a made to order inlet station which appeared to have additional options, but the line was long and moved slowly. There were two dosa fountains. One was out of syrup. The other left small black bits in your drink. The drain grate below the dispensers was heavily corroded. In general, if you’re looking for a bed & shower, this will do. If you want more, this place might not be for you.

Fresh approach

Hotel was a bit different from your average hotel. Like the big atrium and all the plants. A bit disappointed the room didn’t face any trees as shown in the picture. The landscape was the reason we updated to a room with a small balcony. Other than that, we were very pleases. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the shower amenities were eco friendly and smelled nice. The fruit during breakfast was definitely a big plus (they also offered omelets and avocado toast for free, although we did not order any)
