Table stakes for an accommodation: when I’m there I don’t have to think about it. Unfortunately, this property was full of bothersome things to think about — especially bad communication from the property host.
But first, the good: Fits 5 well (3 adults + 2 kids). Excellent location — very walkable for an active family; easy distance to Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc. Good food nearby. Clean (except for stained blankets, ick). Firm but comfortable main bed. Pullout beds more comfortable than most. Air conditioning worked excellent. Serviceable fridge, stove, dishes for basic eating in. We enjoyed making own breakfasts from food bought at nearby grocery store.
But would not stay here again because of frustrating & time wasting communication with property manager (not language barriers, but basic guest service issues). First, just before arrival (same day) they contacted me through Expedia app with checkin details (great!) — but also told me I’d have to pay city taxes ($6/person/night).
