I hate to leave reviews like this especially since the people were so nice, but this place was a complete disaster. The place appears quite sketchy at first glance. The rooms were dirty and had a very unpleasant smell to them. Our sheets even had a cigarette hole burned into them! The shower had a mat that covered up a hole in the floor and the bathroom was filthy. The walls were crazy thin and you could hear everything. The road noise kept us up all night along with the many conversations and noises that we heard. We stayed here to save a buck before our cruise but there was nothing pleasant about our stay and was the worst hotel stay my wife and I have ever experienced. The workers were very nice and tried their best to fix things but you couldn't pay me to stay here again or recommend this place to anyone I care about. We will go back to staying in Texas City before our cruises.

This was probably one of the cleanest, best maintained motels I've been to. The bed was very very comfortable and the staff was nice. Theres a gas station right next to it, which has islts perks and drawbacks. And there are train tracks nearby, so we woke three times to hear a t4ain blow their horn through the intersection. But the bed was so comfy, we immediately fell back asleep afterward. The continental breakfast was lacking, but it didnt have any baring on our review because we dont eat continental breakfast normally.

The first room they sent us to was still in shambles...unmade bed, dirty towels on the floor. Went back to get a different room key card. Breakfast was scheduled for 7:30, but the office was closed and empty. Breakfast was still not available at 7:45, so we checked out and left.

Room 108. 01/31/2026. Check-in was ok. Hotel felt safe. Was reasonably quiet. Heat was fine. Refrigerator worked. 3 lights in the room were not working. Toilet paper holder was broken with toilet paper set on toilet bowl. Wires from an old fire alarm were still hanging from ceiling.

It wasn't good or bad, it just was. We needed a reasonably priced place to stay for the weekend, and this fit the bill. The listing for this hotel says Free Breakfast, it was cereal and yogurt, if you're looking for actual breakfast, I would not recommend them, but if you're looking for someplace to rest your head at a reasonable price, then this is the one!

We booked a room with a king bed, and we were offered a room with two queen beds and a kitchenette when I went to check in. The room looked decent. The bed we slept in was very firm. I realize people have varying preferences in this area, but I wasn't comfortable. The breakfast choices were very limited; coffee, packaged muffins, cereal, and make your own waffles (with syrup, but no butter/margarine) We will definitely return to Galveston County. However, we WILL NOT stay there again!
