Great location

Great location. Walking distance to sights, restaurants, and the Central Station. If you have a view of Bourse, it is a great view, although you will hear what is going on in the square. The noise wasn't too bad, but if you are a light sleeper, or business traveller, you may want the other side of the hotel. We had an Elite room. Bed was upstairs, and bathroom was downstairs, so something to consider if that matters to you.

Clean hotel with ideal location

Clean hotel in the heart of Brussels, good for a short stay. My room was on the quieter side, so I had no problem with the noise from the street. The staff was very helpful.

Road travel is a challenge

Nice hotel once we found it. Nobody at the hotel was able to verbally direct us and it wasn't a language issue. Brussels is a horrible place to try and drive in. Loads of one way street often contradicting an ability to get around. Unless you live there location is crazy. People were very friendly but they are very careless drivers on Bikes, Mopeds, Scooters and cars. No patience at all.

Great location and that's it.

The hotel was going under renovations so wasn't clean or tidy. The room was ok and enough room for 3 persons. The location is ideal as it's right in the heart of the city. Although the staff in general were friendly, when we asked for extra tea/coffee for the room, they didn't provide any.

Cannot recommend

I picked this hotel because of mostly good reviews. We have a family of five so we did the family room (two king beds one twin) I’ll start with the good: the location is fantastic and the beds are fairly comfortable and have what looks like new white comforters (compared to some of the older pictures). But that’s where the positives end. We arrived in Brussels during a bit of an early April heat wave and this hotel didn’t have air conditioning. Our room seemed to be situated right above the attached restaurant and that seemed to also generate heat - our room was sweltering hot!! There are windows, but they opened to vents from the restaurant and other appliances in a little closed off section and it seemed to just add more heat in the room (as well as a lot of smells). Additionally, with our window open someone could come out from another room and go directly into ours since you could step out onto this roof (and there were fire ladders from other rooms) so it did not feel safe to have the windows open anyway. We all barely slept because we just sweat all night long. The room itself was large, but absolutely thrashed. The carpet was worn, patched, and cut in places, the staircase going up to the second bed was coming off of the wall and you could see where it had been glued, and the bathroom had a broken mirror that had been “repaired” with a napkin and packing tape. Last there was a mystery door in our room that was locked that made us feel unsafe. Can’t recommend.

Demasiado ruido alrededor

El lugar es céntrico, dicen tener estacionamiento pero realmente es del hotel Marriot y te cobran 25 euros extras por día. Este hotel está en un área cercana a bares y restaurantes y hay ruido TODA la noche, imposible dormir aún con tapones para los oídos. No hay aire acondicionado y nuestra habitación tenía una ventana abierta con el mecanismo para cerrarla descompuesto y nunca lo solucionaron. El día que nos íbamos el hotel se quedó sin luz, afortunadamente regresó para bajar el equipaje.
