I was dumbfounded with this hotel after reading the reviews. I can't possibly understand if I was at the same hotel as the ones who wrote recent reviews. We booked four nights. First of all they offer "free self parking". Well the hotel is on the public beach and the public beach has parking which is always full especially at night. Lucky if you can park anywhere near the hotel and you have to park on dark side streets at night way away from the hotel. The room was incredibly run down. The balcony door lock was broken which made the room totally unsecure. The hot water was scarce and the drain was partially clogged. The internet was horrible and kept going in and out. Only one plug in the entire room worked and to charge your phone you had to unplug the TV to use it. The coffee machine was brand new, never used, until I realized that this was because the TV outlet was high up on the wall and the plug could not reach this TV outlet, so it was useless. The beds and the linens were very clean however. The pictures on the website of the pool were deceptive. What was missing in the photos was that the pool was packed with people and children all day. It was impossible to even attempt to swim in it. I would characterize it as a "kiddie wading pool". Every chair around the pool was occupied so there was no where to sit.

Sumamente satisfechos con nuestra estadía, la habitación muy cómoda, con todo lo necesario para la estadía. Las instalaciones muy limpias, un detalle lindo para los huéspedes es que tuvieran actividades como los aeróbicos en la piscina y el pinta Cáritas para los niños, se aprecian mucho esos detalles. The toilet didn’t work great, and there isn’t a lot of space to sit by the pool. Other than that, everything was great. Buffet breakfast every morning. Amazing staff. Great size room. Right at the beach, walking distance to the shops in Jaco. Beds were great. Two lovely pools. Great value!

Je ne conseille pas. Nous Étions déçu de la chambre suite présidentielle. Jacuzzi ne fonctionne pas, il n’avait pas d’eau chaude sous la douche. L’hygiène n’était vraiment pas présent et l’isolation n’était vraiment pas dans les normes . Nous avons payé un supplémentaire pour un vieux lit déjà cassé

We booked the suite and everything in the room is extremely old. The shower had more water hitting the wall than your body. Some cabinets wouldn’t close. The safe didn’t work. The tub was outdated, the windows wouldn’t close, the wifi was a bad connection and spotty, the tv picture quality was bad. The bar was useless and was the only place to work as there was no work desk. The water dripped continuously in the shower. The towels were thin and very used. I don’t believe the square feet advertised. The only positive was the view.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. We only stayed 1 night passing through to Tamarindo. We did laundry at the hotel and it was ridiculously priced $26 US for basically socks and underwear and 4 shirts. The rooms are dated and the bathroom is in need of repairs. I also think there may have been bed bugs. I looked at the mattresses and saw signs I have bites the next morning f as well. Location is good pool is noisy as well.

The site I booked had a broken Jacuzzi, no shower head in the Shower and the AC did not work. I had to move to another room which was a much smaller standard room, but no price adjustments were made. The AC in the small room was very weak as well. I am hesitant to provide this review because the staff was pleasant, but it just wasn’t a good stay.

Very nice room , you could see the beach from our balcony. The hotel is right on the beach runs and very close to all the shops in town. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.
