Awful customer service. The quality of the accommodation is irrelevant when the experience is so poor. My recommendation, find an alternative place to stay. Trysil as a ski resort is okay, however there isn’t enough for a full week of skiing and the management of the resort (and availability of open lifts and runs) leaves a lot to be desired.

New and gorgeous apartment right next to the ski slope. Well suited for 4 persons. We enjoyed the Mountain View and easy access to skibox, ski rental. Hope to return!

Great rooms, facilities, and location - but also front-row seat to the development of the lodge expansion. Construction starts most days promptly at 06:00 AM — because nothing complements alpine serenity like the gentle symphony of heavy machinery and controlled blasting. If you’ve ever dreamed of combining skiing with an internship at Caterpillar, this is your moment. To be fair: expansion is understandable. Resorts grow. Investments are good. But when your “mountain view” includes active earth-moving operations directly outside your window — and this wasn’t disclosed clearly before arrival — it does shift the overall experience from “cozy alpine lodge” to “industrial awakening.” Relocating wasn’t realistic once ski passes, rentals, and travel were locked in. So we adapted. Coffee tastes different when accompanied by geological rearrangement. I’m sure the lodge will be fantastic once the dust settles — literally. Until then, future guests may want to confirm whether they’re booking a ski holiday or a live demo of large-scale infrastructure development. Great skiing. Memorable mornings.

Stylish and comfortable stay

Lovely and shiny new apartment hotel. Stylish interiors and huge windows! Thanks to the kitchen, the hotel had a great value for its price. Of course it was a bit expensive, but in line with other Norwegian hotels and totally worth it. We had a huge balcony which was great as well. Very friendly staff at reception and a nice location. I would stay here again!

Modern, secure, and very convenient for ski groups. The room was not entirely clean when we arrived, nor was cleaning service offered during our stay. There are no receptionists on site.

The receptionist (a pretty girl with Indian looks) was very cold regarding cooking possibilities - we thought there was more than a microwave so we had purchased a lot of food. The recommendation was to book an additional room (pay double, no refund, no switching) and that’s it. No thoughtful suggestions like asking at a camping or checking to use a kitchen or something. Just cold. Also no information to be had about how the electric system for the cars work. Reception had no idea at all, so I pre-paid 500nok expecting a rapid fill for the car. After more than an hour the procentage barely moved but I had to check-out losing most of my money for the service. I recommend an all around area where people can meet, cook and hang-out. Also to well inform the front desk about where they work. Lastly to avoid allowing people to feel disappointed and pissed-off by unfriendly coldness. Overordnet set et fint sted. Det er nyt og lækkert. Gode senge, storeværelser, og generelt god kvalitet. Placeringen kunne ikke være meget bedre, med ski in&out. Skiskabene er dog for små, idet de er bygget til 4 personer (selv det er stramt), men når man er 5 har man stadig kun ét skab. Så det ene par støvler måtte med op på værelset, og resten måtte mases ind i skabet. Vores største anke ved dette sted handler om det igangværende byggeri. Stedet er på nuværende tidspunkt under halvt færdigt, så der arbejdes dagligt fra kl 7 om morgen til 18 om aftenen. Det inkluderer gravearbejde direkte i klippegrunden, så du behøver ikke bekymre dig om at sove for længe. Glem også alt om at bruge altanen i dette tidsrum, med mindre du er okay med at opholde til klods op af byggepladsen. Vi var ikke informeret om dette på forhånd, og selvom der står en lille notits om "igangværende byggeri - byggestøj kan forekomme", så matcher det overhovedet ikke virkeligheden. Vi har klaget over dette, med krav om kompensation, men er blevet blankt afvist. Dette er den primære årsag til at vurderingen ikke er bedre. Stedet i sig selv er sådan set meget godt. Det bliver dog interessant at se hvordan det fremstår når det er færdigt - jeg kan godt være bekymret for at det bliver for stort til området.

Køkken var dårligt udstyret. Pander og gryder var klamme, der var flere jeg ikke ville bruge til madlavning. Rengøringen af lejligheden var elendig. Man bor lige ud til et byggeri der laver fra kl 07.00-18.20 i alle hverdage. Lørdag larmer det rigtig meget fra Laveen natklub som har afterski party. Alt i alt dårlig oplevelse!

Fantastiskt men alldeles för dyrt. Bilderna stämde inte riktigt överens med verkligheten, då det antagligen finns olika typer av rum, men man vill ju se den typ av rum på bilderna som man bokar. Har allt du behöver och mer därtill. Dock väldigt dåligt att incheckningstiden är kl.17 som är väldigt sent. Funktionen att man kan betala extra för tidigare incheckning fungerade inte eftersom ingen hörde av sig och bekräftade vår önskade tid, vilket är riktigt dåligt då man vill veta när man kan anlända. Efter många mail och påtryckningar fick vi ett kort svar att tidig incheckning inte var möjligt, men då var vi redan på plats.
