The Vis is located a short bus ride from the chaos of Old Town. It's situated nicely for some beautiful sunsets, and shares health club privileges with the hotel across the street if you need a steam or a jacuzzi. These were provided free for me, but apparently there is an added cost if you choose to use the exercise equipment or get a massage.

Hotel non moderno, ma ben curato anche se le stanze sono un po' datate, ma pulite, la posizione rispetto alla citta vecchia è distante ma ben servito con fermata autobus a pochi metri dalla struttura, se si viaggia in coppia o in 4 persone,conviene spostarsi con servizio bolt. Il personale e gentile e disponibile.

The view from balcony was best thing about this hotel. Very outdated, no elevator, cafeteria style dining area (not a plus) staff was polite but not very helpful. Stayed here one night before getting on a boat trip.

Friendly staff, bathroom doesn’t have shampoo just body wash. I choose to include breakfast for additional $25 per day and the restaurant opens at 7:00, my excursion/tour starts pick up at 6:00 - 630 AM so you will missed your breakfast. They pack me meal to go , a sandwich, fruits and a tetra pack drink but the sandwich tastes bland and only cost $2.00. I complained to the manager and they let me eat at the restaurant at 6:30 AM but not a full breakfast meal because some dishes aren’t ready until 7:00 AM.

Apart from being in a great location and having wonderful staff, there’s not much else one can say. Limited dining and food options and selection - nothing else apart from buffet breakfast and dinner. Dated decor with hints of minor improvements. No elevator, so had to drag luggage up and down numerous flights of stairs. I had five nights booked, only stayed one. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Amazing to have own pebble beach front with beautiful sea for swimming. Lucky too, we had sea view balcony room with fab views. Hotel needs a refurbish really but nice to see the traditional furniture and decor, must have been a plush place to be in days gone by! Location great, other side of the (currently rundown) Lapad pebble beach seems to be a lot more developed, with a fab promenad (with bars/restaurants inc Cave Bar) for walking, running etc with stunning sea views. Walking to the busy Dubrovnik old town is do-able from hotel if fit, and wonderful for coastal views, but buses go there too.

I would stay here again. Had a beautiful sea view. There is no elevator so if you have issues with stairs, it's not the place for you. Very walkable area. Bus right across the street from the hotel. Breakfast wasn't so great but there is a bakery right around the corner.. For a three-star hotel and price it was worth it.

Nice location and friendly service. The conditions of the hotell is ok for what you pay for. Good to live there but we used the other restaurants and bar on the other side of the water that was more fancy.

We got a room with a huge balcony with an excellent view. The hotel is worn and there is mold here and there. There is also a funky smell in the hotel. Breakfast is ok. No sunbeds were provided (mid October).
