Lovey grand hotel that has been nicely refitted in the central square. The outside terrace is great for drinks in the sun and the location is perfect to walk everywhere in Calmar.

Relaxing stay in Calmar hotel.

We had a very spacious comfortable room. The bath robes were quite nice as were the towels and the sheets. The bathroom was remodeled and it was very spacious. Could’ve used more shelves for toiletries, but that is often in the case in older European hotels. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very good.

Slightly worn wallpaper above the bed, some damaged tiles in the bathroom, no air conditioning in the room, expensive parking compared to street parking, the spa could definitely have had stricter rules regarding keeping voices low, the breakfast area floor needed a deep cleaning, the breakfast staff performed many ergonomically poor lifts, there was only one elevator and it was quite small and slow, the price for the stay was fairly high, worn and non-soundproof windows facing the square, the breakfast setup for food and drinks could have been better organized, but the staff was very friendly.

God service men elendig morgenmad. Hotellet fremstår ret slidt flere steder og jeg var samtidig uheldig at få et lille hjørneværelse. Til gengæld var personalet søde og hjælpsomme. Men største problem var morgenmadsbuffeten. Den var simpelthen direkte ringe. De dårligste røræg nogensinde. Helt forkert konsistens og smag. Baked beans i den tyndeste sauce jeg har oplevet (nærmest vand). Kyllingepølser uden smag. Kunstig æble- og appelsinjuice. Så en klar anbefaling her fra: Spring morgenmadsbuffeten over og spis et sted hvor maden smager godt.

Hotellet ligger i en äldre byggnad och alla rum vi bott i har varit olika stora och olika inredda Det kan vara charmigt, men också ett lotteri och man vet i förväg bara på ett ungefär hur rummet man bokat ser ut. Frukosten är i vårt tycke ordinär Det mesta finns , men inget man väljer att bo på hotellet för. Snara är det läget och prisvärdheten som gör att man väljer att bo på hotellet.
