Room was comfortable. Place was nice. I appreciated the water cooler and little fridge and snacks in the common room. Staff was very nice. Hopefully they will iron it our so they can send the room # and check in code via messages in the app before check in. That was the only issue, and they did sort it out quickly. Nice location near Helen and the hiking trails. You can schedule a tastinng also.

My stay was excellent. The room was exactly as described. I loved and enjoyed the whirlpool and the shared balcony. The bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked really well. There is a nice coffee station and mini fridge/freezer combo in the room and a larger selection of coffee, creamer, snacks/breakfast items, and a microwave out in the common room. I used the microwave both nights late - and stopped the microwave a second before it binged - and it didnt seem to bother anyone. The common areas, room, balcony, and the property overall were clean, maintained and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and communicated well. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear. The property had ample parking and is close to Helen. I really enjoyed my stay.

We chose Sylvan Valley Lodge for a quick trip to North Georgia because of the positive reviews and the reasonable price. For our needs, this place was perfect! I loved that it was so convenient to Helen yet just far enough away for some peace and quiet. The room was clean and nice, and the beds were comfortable. We got in a little later in the evening and were thrilled with the easy check-in and the grab-and-go snacks in the common area. That was such a pleasant and welcome surprise! We even found a small sealed bag of ice in the minifridge freezer provided for guests to use, and that came in handy for my insulated water bottle. It was those kinds of little thoughtful touches that really set this place apart. We would definitely stay here again.

It was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet! If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to Helen but not right on the strip, this would be the place to go!! It isn't a big chain hotel, so there aren't people running up and down the hallways. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back!!

The stay was absolutely amazing. We checked in with no problems. Our cabin was so cute and cozy. The bed was super comfortable and loved having the fireplace in the evenings. We were able to have our dog there with us. We had a wine tasting with Lucy on property that was wonderful. Just a 10 minute drive to a Helen and many outdoor hiking opportunities. We will definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful property! The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. Things were calm and quiet. I liked the ease of access and check-in with the door code system. We enjoyed the heart-shaped hot tub. As an amateur naturalist, I noticed and especially enjoyed the historical botanical prints on the walls - that was a special little detail, and I and would love to know more of the story about these prints.

Not that clean and the suite needed refurbished. There was mold in the shower. dirty base boards and dusty blinds. Several things sitting on floor that appeared to have fallen off walls and not rehung. A desk chair up stairs had a big stain on it and a weird long pillow on bed that had multiple holes in it. Lots of marks and scratches on walls. Definitely needs repainted. Also it would have been nice to know this was a 2 story suite with the beds upstairs but one and only bathroom downstairs. On a positive note the staff at front desk was very nice. Good location and comfortable beds.

Our check-in was seamless and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The room was very clean and very comfortable, from the small couch in a little alcove to the bed. In fact, it was the most comfortable "hotel" bed I can remember experiencing. The property is a little older, but has been very well updated. There aren't many receptacles, but they've solved that by placing a power strip in the room. The balcony was shared with the room next door and looked out onto the parking lot, but it was still nice to be able to go out and sit there. And there was a large common area right outside our room that was well-stocked with snacks and board games. We were very pleased with the property and very much enjoyed our stay.
