Got there around 8 PM and was checked in right away. The room was clean and well-furnished, although a table and chair would have been good so I could have had an easier time using my laptop.
About a half-hour later I called the front desk and asked for a room service menu, whereupon I was informed the hotel didn't have room service. I thought this was supposed to be a casino hotel, with all sorts of amenities to keep the guests entertained while they spent their money at the casino. Go figure.
Around 3 AM the fire alarm went off. The building was evacuated in an orderly manner, and the cause of the emergency located and resolved. Apparently this sort of thing happens often here--some people just cannot hold off on smoking or vaping. Not the hotel's fault at all, and we were able to return to our rooms after an hour.
At least the bathtub was large enough to accommodate me--that's more than I can say for most hotel bathtubs. A grip bar on the tub itself would have been helpful for getting out, though.
Perhaps if these suggestions were followed, I would consider staying here again.
