I just want to share our experience. We often choose Super 8 hotels for our road trips because of their reasonable prices, clean rooms, and swimming pools. Usually, our stays have been pleasant.
However, this time was quite different. Our first room had yellow and brown stains on the bed (as shown in the attached photo), which was really disgusting. We packed up all our belongings and went downstairs to report the issue. The front desk staff was very approachable—he also took a photo and kindly offered to change our room.
Unfortunately, the second room we were given hadn’t been cleaned yet (see photo). So once again, we had to move all our luggage—and our kids—through the hotel in the middle of the night. We finally settled into a third room.
The front desk staff was sympathetic and helpful. He even offered us a complimentary stay, which we truly appreciated. We understood it wasn’t his fault, and we had no intention of leaving a negative review.
However, a few days later, we were charged for the stay. When we contacted the hotel, they denied ever making the offer. As loyal customers, we were deeply disappointed by how the situation was handled.
