Move on to another hotel

This once great hotel has declined over the years. The room was not clean and getting extra towels required multiple visits to the front desk. The hallways smelled of smoking and the staff were perpetually outside smoking around the entrances.

Great older place, though updated. Nice buffet breakfast included. Across the street from the beach, but very convenient. Price was good and hotel hosts were super helpful and had encouraging attitudes every time we talked.

Great location. Fair price. Adequate size room. Beds a little soft for our taste but comfortable. Quiet at night. Clean and liked the fact that they save energy by only changing towels and sheets every 3 days unless you ask for it sooner.

We had fishing charter and just stayed one night. Overall good stay. Check in went smoothly. Room was clean, A/C worked great. The only two complaints I have was bathroom need updated. The faucet on tub needs replaced it continuously stream water and was bothersome sleeping at night even with door shut. Our TV didn’t work the whole time some kind connection issue I think. Didn’t realize this till later that night and I forgot to mention at checkout next day. This hotel is in great location and I would stay here again. It just needs some updates overall good place to stay.

Wouldn't stay here again. But it was the cheapest.

Saw two live roaches. Toilet wouldn't stop running half the time. Shower wouldn't turn off completely. Room smelled of musky cigarette smoke (not recently smoked in but had been in years past for sure). Breakfast was by far the worst I've ever had a hotel. They didn't even have the my standard go to (pancake maker) when everything isn't good. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Great location.

Breakfast was pretty weak. No half and half for coffee........large clumps fell into the coffee from the milk dispenser and the staff stated it was frozen milk (...?). Pool is tiny, no kids and adult pools, so you have screaming kids in the pool until well afer 9 PM. Not a relaxing adult experience.

Amelia Hotel has potential. The location is convenient. We were on the first floor and it was quite loud in the morning. I felt that the hotel needs some upgrades. The lamps, metal parts in bathroom, and bottom of closet were rusted. Our view was the dumpsters across the street. I don’t think I would recommend the place to someone else.

Cute and cozy looking. Was very close to the beach with a beautiful view. The first room we were assigned had black mold in the bathroom so we were given another one which was better. The beds were comfy. There wasn’t enough sitting room for breakfast but the food was pretty good.
