The Faros Hotel (Old City) is in an excellent location for sightseeing, a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, Haga Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and also the Topkapi Palace. We had a wonderful stay because the staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast made a great start to the day and we ate in the restaurant most evenings which is popular with guests and visitors. The hotel has reliable wifi and the rooms were clean snd comfortable. We were grateful for them arranging taxi transfers to and from the airport. I would highly recommend the Faros hotel and give it an excellent rating.

Great location. It’s lively and in the heart of Sultan Ahmet, close to the Grand Bazaar. The hotel is small but clean. I wouldn’t recommend for families with small children as it is a bit noisy when the trams go by. The breakfast is average. The staff are kind.
