Had an amazing stay, i was in a corner suite on top floor, amazing view of the ocean. Room had good air con and ceilings fan. Kitchen was really nice. Pool was clean and nice. The best part were the staff, really nice and friendly Couple minor things, toliet flush was temperamental (twice flush) sun lounges could do with replacing the cushions or slip covers. These are very minor elements to a perfect stay

Beautiful Views and Even Better Hospitality

I had a very pleasant stay at South Gap Hotel and would highly recommend it. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning ocean view. The pool and pool deck had a really cool vibe—perfect for relaxing. The only downside was the slow service at the restaurant. However, that was easily overlooked thanks to Tia at the front desk. Her customer service was exceptional—she was friendly, helpful, and an absolute joy to talk to. She truly made the experience memorable. Overall, it was a great stay, and I can definitely see myself coming back.

Let me start by saying the hotel was clean, spacious, and best of all the location is perfect close to all the fun in St Lawrence Gap. The receptionist Tia was very welcoming upon arrival and made us feel at home. Check In was smooth and we were in our room in no time. Best Hotel for a nice view of the ocean and close to the noghtlife. I wouldnt stay amywhere else.

This was our first time staying in Barbados and at the hotel. We had a 1-bedroom Queen suite with ocean view. Very spacious, well equipped and fabulous view overlooking the pool and ocean. Plenty of sun beds available every day; parking for our vehicle; and some great restaurants all within a short walking distance. Staff were great and we would definitely return to The South Gap.

First of all this was my first time in Barbados and let me say the island is amazing. Secondly, Tia and the staff at South Gap were wonderful from check in to check out. The hotel is recently updated and has the perfect kitchenette for light food prep and storing your drinks/snacks. There are restaurants and plenty of beach access right at your door and although the hotel itself doesn’t have its own beach the deck and ocean views were more than compensation. We will certainly be returning next year!

Ideal pour profiter de St. Lawrence Gap

Séjour agréable pour bien manger et boire sur St. Lawrence Gap. Possibilité de se garer à l'hotel. Bien desservie par les véhicules de transport en commun qui longe la rue. Chaque matin, au petit déjeuné, nous regardions les tortues venir respirer de temps à autre. Pebbles Beach pour nager avec les tortues. Drill Hall Beach était très belle aussi. On peu aussi aller se tremper les pied 200m avant l'hotel. La piscine est très agréable. Oistins est pas très loin.

My wife and I enjoyed out three nights at South Gap. There are resorts on Barbados that cost about twice as much per night, and honestly, I thought South Gap was just about as nice. I liked that it was not overly big, and boisterous. The street in front is very lively in the evening, but the rooms are quiet. I like the balcony overlooking the ocean, and the meals were good.
