I will be calling Customer Service regarding the deplorable situation of this hotel.
I feel a full refund is warranted.
The property was under extreme construction to the point that most of the first floor was inaccessible, and the only elevator in the property was completely inaccessible.
That alone is unacceptable.
The property room that I booked was actually not available despite the fact that I paid for an upgrade
To be fair the on-site staff member when we checked in did put us in a two room suite, but that was the only available option.
When we asked about the time construction would resume and end we were lied to and told that construction would not start before 10 AM and would end at five promptly every day.
Neither of these times was correct.
The morning we had a very difficult time leaving our second floor room, construction began just before 8 AM and the dust and dirt was horrific, and in fact, the agent who checked us in told us that the day before we arrived, they were actually jackhammering the tile out of the property
This is unacceptable and we should have been informed that extreme construction was taking place during our stay, there was dust and dirt everywhere, including bits of the old floor tracked all the way up to where our room was.
In the room, there was almost no usable, kitchen implements, and there were only two glasses and one was cracked and broken so it had to be discarded
Completely unacceptable ! I do not have space to type more, but will cal
