The staff were very friendly and welcoming, everyone greeted us wherever we were. The outside areas are wonderful, the restaurants are beautiful and the food is good. I love the rocky cliffs, tiny lagoon and the decks with stairs to access the sea. There are comfortable chairs and loungers and the pools are very nice. We chose an ocean view room and it was lovely to have the sliding glass door open at night and listen to the waves. The beds are decently comfortable. There was also a bar fridge in the room which was a bonus since it wasn’t listed in the description. The room is a bit tired and after waiting for an hour for it to be ready, we discovered that the deadbolt didn’t work so we just used the little chain to secure it. We were only there for a night so asked maintenance who showed up to wait until we left as we had no plans to leave the property. There was no hot water the next morning at 9am and it’s worth noting that there are no extra plugs, at least none I found, at the nightstand. There was a plug in the bathroom and one for the fridge and coffeemaker so we juggled charging things. Not the end of the world of course, we should be reading a book. Despite a few snags I’d come again because the outside space is really wonderful and I’d like to try B Unique, it is more upscale but there was no room a available for three.

My experience at Hotel B Cozumel was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. I chose this hotel expecting comfort, good service, and basic hospitality—but it failed on every level. The room was poorly maintained, with clear signs of neglect. Cleanliness was far from acceptable, and it felt like nobody cared enough to fix or improve anything. The service was just as bad—slow, and disorganized. On top of that, the overall atmosphere was chaotic and unprofessional. What should have been a relaxing stay turned into a frustrating experience that last only a few hours as my wife and I decided to walk away from this place and make a reservation in another hotel, last minute. For the price they charge, the value is absolutely not there. There are many better options in Cozumel. I would never stay here again, and I don’t recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable or enjoyable trip.

El personal fue siempre muy amable y la atención de primera. La estancia en las afueras del hotel están llenas de lujo y comodidad para disfrutar una hermosa vista al mar. Sólo quiero mencionar por este medio que este hotel NO tiene playa, sólo acceso al mar (en un área rocosa), a pesar de que en Expedia aparece "playa" como una de sus características principales, considero necesario hacer esta aclaración ya que el hotel fue muy específico en eso desde que llegamos, pero Expedia tiene esa limitante (y no sé si a propósito, porque tiro por viaje me salen con "letras chiquitas" cada vez que reservo), lo cual se vuelve un problema ya que la isla cuenta con muy pocas playas, casi todas privadas, y si te toca mal clima que impida realizar actividades acuáticas en el hotel, como en mi caso, tienes qué trasladarte en un auto rentado (ya que sólo hay taxi y es caro), lo cual tampoco estaba contemplado (más tiempo y dinero gastado en esto). El desayuno incluido estaba bastante completo y muy bueno, aunque con opciones limitadas. Las habitaciones muy limpias y cómodas, aunque parece que les falta algo de renovación. Sin dudarlo volvería a hospedarme en este lugar para descansar, pero si tu intención es ir a conocer y explorar las playas, recomiendo investigar otras opciones.
