A perfect hotel for our family! We went to Legoland but wanted to stay somewhere offsite - we loved walking to the cafes etc. A very cute area and clean, sizable room! Highly recommend.

Very good location. Clean. Small. Nice people at a front desk. Big trains woke me up at around 11 pm and then again at 11:20 pm. Could not sleep for another hour.

It’s a good location, affordable, the hotel is cute and all ….but my queen bed was very sunken in — I just dealt with it because no vacancy… but the third night Sunday afternoon found about 6 -7 ants crawling ON my sheets and comforter! after we came back being out all day! Mind you we were very careful not eating on the bed or in the room. We had leftovers from restaurants in the fridge but why ants on my bed and not going to a fridge? And a few ants in the bathroom? ? Needless to say I stayed on my moms bed the last night even though they sprayed the room and offered new sheets it made me feel uneasy.. we wish we were offered a discount for the ant problem the last night because who would feel comfortable sleeping in that bed after seeing that ?

I wish I had a more positive review. This trip was highly anticipated and I looked forward to a relaxing stay. I got an email before arrival saying to call if I was going to check in after 3pm because staff wouldn’t be there after 5. I called, no answer. I emailed back and got a reply later. I checked in about 3:30pm. The lady who checked me was very kind and helpful. The parking situation was tight and crowded, but perhaps this is CA in general. The room was ok. No paper towels for a room with a kitchen in it. The next morning I asked if there was recycling. The man behind the counter was rude, referred to me as my room number, and directed me across the court yard-all while on the phone. The train wasn’t a bother, but loud other guests were, especially with how tight of a space it is. The man was rude again at check out-“is that it?” When I handed in my key. They don’t clean your room or make your bed either and I was there for 5 nights. The shower area was tiny, difficult to move around in. It felt suffocating at times when you could hear the room next to you, the restaurant next to you, and the street/train. I don’t know if I’d book here again.

Soooo clean. I actually took a bath in tub, no dust in corners, everything you need, 1st class soft sheets, towels, beautiful shutters. Fresh smelling without chemical smell. Only issue was bed dipped in middle and not that comfortable in spite of cushioning efforts. Maybe just that room.

I had a smaller room this time, but it worked fine for one person. The main issue was the air conditioning. It was a very small unit, tucked under the kitchenette structure. We were experiencing an unusual heat wave and this little wall unit couldn't cool the room efficiently. Luckily it was cooler my second night and I opened the windows. I would be cautious if you need a cool room to sleep in this summer.

This was our second stay at the Leucadia Beach Inn and we are continuing to fall deeper in love with it. The flower smell comes through the window, everything is clean, short walk to the beach/shops/restaurants.. the lights at night and sound of the fountain! We were locals displaced by a flood and they made us feel at home. The manager is so nice!

Our go to spot for Encinitas. Cute 20’s motor in, large room, kitchenette. If you don’t need huge property, big lobby, on site car and grill, gym, pool, concierge, can’t be vest.

Loved the room and courtyard. Easy free parking. Excellent service. Our only issue was bathroom door would not close. Not really a problem for us but should be remedied. (Room 4) We’d definitely stay again!!

Best spot in Encinitas for location, comfort and easy access driving or walking. Close to Coaster Station too. Kitchenette makes it perfect for budget meals too. The folks here are the best and strive to make your stay a nice experience.

We love this place! Always welcoming when we check in. Always clean. Perfect location, safe, and quiet. If there’s one thing I would have to suggest would be to upgrade the mattresses. They are worn out. This is the second room with them. I think it’s time. Otherwise this little gem is perfect!

My family of four stayed here for two nights. We have been here several times in the past and always love it. The rooms are cozy, the kitchenette is convenient, the hotel has a unique style, and the staff are always helpful.
