Liked the Property but I was entertaining 3 Friends early for one night before our weeks Condo. stay, the bathroom tub was so discusting I have a picture, The worse was the phone line did not work and we were cut off from all communication. When a neighbor heard of the problem called from her cell, they then said they were not coming that night Friday, but will be there 9am Sat. am I let them know we were checking out at 11 so do not come at 9am. We were then stuck with out communication, I added International dial to my phone just to request a shuttle for dinner. They then showed up at 8:30 am anyway embarassing.

We were given a fabulous room with an amazing view even after our vow renewal plans fell through. Mariel was VERY responsive to any questions I had. Carol in concierge was very thorough in explaining the resort as a whole upon check in. The beach property in front of the resort is amazing. Everything was comfortable and clean in the room. Wish we had more time to utilize all the amenities that Reserva Conchal has to offer. We will absolutely be back.

Not a Hotel...

I was also shocked to realize this was not a hotel but a condo development. Rooms are far from the beach and you have to call a shuttle to get there. If you are looking for that, it is a great place to stay. The condos are not in the beach though. Pros: Nice condo. Clean. Great A/C. Lovely Beach. Very good bicycles on loan to get around. There are paddle boards and kayaks for loan also. The gym is good. Bed and linen are great. Cons: If you forgot something in your room it can take around 30 minutes to get back to the beach with it. It isn´t a hotel so there is no room service. Food isn´t very good.

Amazing service

Overall great experience there were random bugs in our condo on the first night but I found a small opening in one of the doors blocked it witha tissue sprayed big spray on it and found no bugs for the rest of our trip. Room was very clean, we even had a washing machine and dryer! Service was amazing! Super friendly staff helpful friendly, and efficient. Loved this resort!

Muy tranquila y con buena vista y el condominio un poco viejo, pero de buena calidad y distribución, pero un lugar sumamente tranquilo, para quitarse el estrés. Queda a tres Km del lugar de actividades y piscina y de la playa, pero con un magnífico sistema de transporte gratuito, y con gente muy amable. Le falta un poco de mantenimiento, a la refrigeradora, que enfriaba poco y se trababan los hielos, la olla arrocera no funcionaba y la licuadora tenía mala la tapa. El servicio de limpieza excelente. Se puede recomendar para descansar y el que no quiere cocinar , hay donde pagar en restaurante.

I have stayed at this resort for 12 years. I love this resort the staff is incredible. But this time I noticed that they are renting out to more people then ever before and if a room hold 6 people 20 people would be stuffed in a room . I think they need to figure this problem out and quickly it changed the resort completely and I will Be looking into mukul not reserva to purchase a residence

The place I rented was an apartment in Reserva Conchal. It has the benefit of having all the services available of the Hotel, but in an apartment that has kitchen and great views of the ocean. Next time I fly to Tamarindo with the family, I will choose this option

Great condo/hotel/resort in Conchal Beach

Very spacious condos, fully equipped and very secluded. The condos are located in several buildings throughout a large area so it's very quiet and relaxing. The beach club is very nice, with lounge chairs readily available right on the beach, free use of kayaks and stand up paddle boards, spa with a large hot/cold Jacuzzi, nice restaurant. Try the second floor bar... nice views and great service. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. And if you are looking for more action, Tamarindo town is only a few minutes away by car. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and fully recommend this resort.

In general we had a great stay with tons of activities - fast check-in at the concierge desk and spacious apartment with all amenities. Loved the hiking trails and the beach. The only negative part of our stay was the extremely slow service at the beach club restaurant. There´s definitely need for improvement to have the waiters doing a better job

Home away from home Condo

We landed in Liberia and rented a car for a few days. Although there were not many road signs, we were able to reached our destination of Reserva Conchal without asking for directions. We were greeted at the entrance to the gated complex by security and directed to a building for check-in. The complex was huge, complete with an 18 hole magnificent golf course, surrounded by condos, the Westin Resort and Spa, and a wildlife reserve. Checking in was a breeze. Our reservation was sitting on the desk waiting for us and the check-in staff welcomed us and called us by name. They spoke English fluently. Our condo was located near the entrance to the complex. The condo was very large with a fully equipped kitchen; a dining area at the counter; living room; huge bedroom with a sitting room; a huge bathroom with a shower and separate jacuzzi. The place was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. We were on the ground level with an outside entrance to a lovely covered patio and about 30 feet to a swimming pool. The view of the ocean was breathtaking as were the sunsets. We were invited to eat at the many restaurants with reservations and were offered a discounted price at the restaurants. It was very affordable. We were close to a village and stocked up on a few items for breakfast and lunches. Every day our beds were made and the condo was cleaned with fresh towels. I highly recommend Reserva Conchal.

Nice apartment, high occupancy, service problems

because high occupancy, in the counter, at the checking, the possibilities to have a dinner or lunch at the restaurant was denied, alternative was to go outside and take a dinner at the town or to buy stuffs at the supermarket and cook the meals at the apartment. As well the maid service was very occupied and cleaned the apartment very late at the afternoon and the towels wasn´t change for dry ones.

Exc y elegante pero no para todos los gustos.

Reserva Conchal no es un lugar para todo los tipos de gustos. Si estan en busca de un hotel donde usted sale de su habitacion y tiene la piscina al frente y el mar a la par, este hotel no es su opcion. Esto porque el hotel es sumamente grande tanto asi que esta didivido en Condominos, con una zona comun en cada uno y un Beach club frente a la playa. Para mi fue una experiencia maravillosa, la habitacion donde estuvimos era de ensueño, amplia, limpia, con una vista increible. Las instalaciones del hotel son muy amplias y elegantes. Ofrece servicios para todos los gustos, como gimnasio, spa, restaurante, kayak, bicicletas, etc. Lo unico que daria como recomendacion es que capaciten mejor a los empleados, porque en ocasiones no sabian dar respuesta o daban informacion incorrecta. De ahi en fuera, es un lugar 100% recomendado, para ir a un viaje de relajacion, idealmente ir mas de 3 noches para disfrutarlo mas.
