The Belle Isle has the most wonderful, friendly staff. The included breakfast is a basic grab & go, which is very convenient and time saving. The room is very cute & curated to fit the charming motel vibe. I can tell someone really cares about this place. The location is the perfect distance to avid the crowds & traffic of Bar Harbor, but close enough to get to Acadia and surrounding areas easily and quickly. Would absolutely stay again. I wish there was a sixth star for this place.

The room was comfortable and clean. Easy checkin. The ice machine was broken for most of our stay. Breakfast was nice and easy to order. The pool was closed but this may not be pool season yet as it was pretty cold still. Overall a good stay. Thank you.

A good overnight stop

This is a comfortable, rather old-style motel; rooms were small and so was the shower, but perfectly relaxing, pet-friendly with plenty of room for walking the dog, and a lovely quiet beach just a mile or so away. We didn’t get breakfast, but the staff were very friendly.
