The quality of the room was subpar. I was in a non-smoking room but the guest next door to me smoked marijuana throughout my stay and the scent entered into my room. I called front desk to complain, and Jasmine informed me that she could send housekeeping up to spray my room!!! Thus, I had to turn my air off to minimize the fumes coming through the vent.

My wife and I arrived around 2 pm our check in time was 4 pm we checked in at the front desk just to see if by chance our room was ready and it wasn’t but we were told it should be ready soon and the front desk would call before 4 pm we never got the cal so we went to the front desk around 4 and it was a different person there and when asked about the phone call the young lady said they must of forgot… then the young lady said oh you hav an ocean view room we said great but we didn’t ask for one.. we get to the room and saw nothing but a wall looking back at us… we weren’t asking for a room with an ocean view but if the front desk people don’t know what type of room they are giving to a guest then maybe they shouldn’t tell a customer what type of room they are getting.. then I ordered a meal of chicken nachos and I have to be honest it was one of the worst meals I have ever had.. and after 20 years in the army that’s saying something.. and lastly I don’t normally complain about gambling bit between my wife and I we lost over 1000$ and our biggest win was under 60$… now I am not saying we should win every jackpot on every spin but we both were a little perplexed about that.. and yes we have stayed at other hard rock establishments before and never had an issue before

We stayed one night and it was a decent place to stay. Only complaint I have is the entire hall and rooms smelled of marijuana. We had a non-smoking room but it still smelled of cigarette smoke and marijuana and halls and elevators smelled the same.

Staff weren't friendly at all. I’ve tried to request late check-out even offered to pay for it. But, was told that they couldn't because they we're sold out. Which was a total lie, went directly to their website and they were open. Finally they told me that housekeeping issues they didn't know if they have enough housekeeping for that day. That's terrible excuse yet alone to tell that to your guest!!

Everyone is so polite, that is the south! Lots in the area to see and do. We did go to Mobile one day and did the trolley historical tour and toured the USS Alabama, wonderful tour.

We called the hotel weeks in advance to ensure the pool or hot tub would be open and chose this hotel based on their confirmation that it was. Imagine our surprise when we got there and the pool and hot tubs were drained and closed indefinitely. I called again from our room and they said it was open and I said there’s no water, she replied “ohhhh, they must be doing maintenance.” How on earth do the people employed by the hotel not even know what’s happening? I travel twice a month and was left disappointed by this trip. Pass on the Hard Rock and pick another casino.

The ‘wall’ between the bedroom and bathroom was glass - not frosted glass which allowed clear sight into the bathroom. A little awkward getting out of the shower to get dressed and being totally visible from the bedroom! The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Loved the motorized shades! Front desk staff was exceptional! Loved the Half Shell Restaurant in the casino as well as the Duncan Donuts and little pizza restaurant!
