Short getaway to recharge!

A short getaway to play golf & relax in the quiet surrounds of the Fleurieu. Enjoyed great round of golf… greens were in magnificent condition. The local kangaroos were not at all perturbed by our presence… we also dined at the restaurant one night… fresh seafood. Staff were very helpful. Highly recommend.

Not a place I would book again, room not what I would call clean, bed was comfortable, they had 2 towels in the bathroom that were extremely thin and if you wanted another one you had to pay for it. We enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The one bedroom apartment unit is spacious with a view overlooking the swimming pool and golf course. We booked it for 2 adults and 1 kid as stated on the ad, however I was asked to pay extra $35 for using the sofa bed for my kid, which is contradictory to the listing ad. The ad is misleading. I hope it will be looked at by the hotel to avoid confusion to their future customers.

The rooms are large and clean, and we loved that they had foxtel. The gym is very good, lots of machines and weights. The restaurant was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint was on the second morning the room above us must had small children as we were woken up with a lot of noise/scraping of chairs. We will be back.

great place to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of a beach getaway. Lovely view from the second balcony, fun watching the local wildlife sharing their golf green with the golfers! Nice restaurant with a decent choice on the menu. Town with shops, cafes only a few kms away and is walkable. Only issue was not having a courtesy bus or local taxi for a night out and no such thing as Uber in the area either. If you need a private driver, you need to book well in advance for the 1 person currently operating in the area. Ohterwise, it was a lovely stay and would stay again!

Good hotel but poor management

The environment and the hotel room were great. The bulcony facing the golf course, and sea from far, with sunset just right in front. Kangaroos can be seen far away, and it happened that one of the kangaroo just ran across below the bulcony in the evening. However, the jacuzzi in the bathroom does not function well, with quite weak stream of water jet defeating the purpose. Another grudge I have to voice out is, we clearly stated booking for 3 persons and paid for it, but we were charged AUD35 again for the 3rd person on checking in. This anomaly is irritating.
