Clean rooms. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Pool room and hot tub were “chilly” due to broken/missing windows (fans were on to keep humidity low as it would affect the lobby area adjacent). Hot tub wasn’t “hot”, more like a “warm” tub; Jets were also weak and useless (no jets on seated area, only at the bottom foot area); unfortunately the hot tub was the primary selling point for my choice to stay here vs others and it was a slight disappointment for me. Resort has great potential, just needs some updating. Continental breakfast had a lot of options! Pillows in bedroom were not very comfortable.

Last night was the worst hotel experience I have ever had - I am not exaggerating. After staying at the Fireside inn in West Leb 2-3 nights a month for the last several months, I will not be returning. I have never been as insulted as I was by their front desk staff person as I was last night. This stay, I tried to sleep through a neighbor who left their TV on all night. Whatever they were watching, it was full of low level dialog (could hear that someone was talking but couldn’t really make out what they were saying), intermittent shouting/screaming, occasional horns/screeches, persistent clicking/tapping – the longer I listened the more I thought it sounded like a video game. There was just enough sound coming through the wall to hear it any time the room fan was not on and the sound was random enough to wake me up every time. I tried the friendly wall slap a couple of times but, after a really restless night, I finally gave up just before 4 am and called the desk. In response to my request for help, he made an anemic first phone call 10-15 minutes later. The phone rang three times with no answer (I could hear the phone ringing through wall). I waited a few minutes and since the TV was still on, I called the front desk back. The response I got was basically "There's nothing I can do." I asked him to please try again. A few minutes later he did, allowing the phone to ring longer, but still got no answer and the TV continued. I tried knocking on the wall again but got no resp

Staff support was insulting. I have been coming here about one night a week for the last several months but will not be coming back. This is the second time a noisy neighbor ruined my stay. Not sure if walls are paper thin/less sound proof, but it is really hard to ignore noise here. I explained that they were likely losing a customer - there are many other options in the area to choose from. An argument resulted. "What would you have me do?" I suggested they listen to their customer and go knock on the door, what if the person was in trouble (passed out, OD, in medical distress?) the room was okay, clean but the bathroom was very small and there was no vent or fan in the bathroom so it was very steamy when showering making the floor and counter top slippery and the lobby floors were wet all the time from someone constantly mopping them. Staff interaction was very minimal only spoke to staff when checking in
