Tahiti Village
sparkled with excitement,
with rhythm, lights, and fun.
Although the language was a barrier at first,
I managed to cross it without much effort.
But in the hallways, something was missing:
a smile, a comforting gesture.
I noticed cold glances as I passed,
a distant attention, hard to ignore.
I don't judge by race or color;
we all deserve respect and warmth.
Even more so for those who come from afar to rest,
expecting kindness upon arrival.
