The listing stated 2 queens and a queen sofa for our suite but the room only had 2 doubles and a queen sofa bed. Very different room types. The hotel confirmed the do not have 2 queen bed and a queen sofa bed option that was listed. The staff was really nice though. We made it work for one night.

Great hotel. Our room opened onto the dock overlooking the water. We had manatees in the water right in front of our dock. Room was comfortable but older. Best part was the view and lovation.

We got in early, they gave us 2 towels and invited to chill at the pool. Office staff was so nice, directed us to good food also. The room was clean, really big and the bed was super comfy. We enjoyed sitting in the evening on the dock. Wonderful experience, we are definitely coming back

We didn’t go to the pool. Unfortunately the room we were in, 119, evidently had flooding issues due to a pipe breaking. It was in no condition to be rented out. We were supposed to say three nights, we only stayed two and the manager gave us a refund on that third night. Maybe other rooms were nice, we didn’t get to see, but our room had no hangers, no hooks to hang the towels, no room darkening curtains, and the work they did on the wall cutting out two 8 x 10 sections, was boarded up, but not spackled and painted. So as I said, the other rooms could’ve been nice, but we didn’t see any of them.

We specifically booked this room because it included a kitchen. We wanted to eat in but weren’t able to use it adequately. It started with a snarky sign saying dishes are a curtesy. Really? One of the bowls had a crack, stove was dirty/rusty and felt unsafe to use. NO cooking utensils. Limited cooking pots that looked old and dirty. Newer coffee pot provided but no coffee or filters. But packaged stir stick and napkin was provided???? Only way to get coffee was a long walk to dock area, Very inconvient in morning. Microwave was clean and newer, but ON TOP of the refrigerator. Hard to reach and use. Cleaning supplies were lacking- 1 dish towel but no wash clothes, drying rack or things needed to wash dishes. Bathroom had a fantastic shower area. It also had the only small mirror in facility to use. Hair dryer disconnected and laying under sink. It was dirty and difficult to use. Had a burning smell when using. Only 2 small thin bath towels. THe pool area was beautiful and clean. Great lounge chairs. BUT NO pool towels and we had to go buy some. Outside area, loved seeing the manatees but docks badly in need of repair. Nice tiki huts and table area. Overall, facility felt adequate at best. Is not a place that we would recommend or stay again. VERY disappointed. :(

This place was top notch. Very hospitable when we checked in. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the coffee in the morning by the water was delicious and peaceful. The resort has kayaks and I was able to take one out in the morning and there were manatees that swam around me. It was beautiful! We had dinner down the street at the island fish company and it was one of the best meals we've ever had. Highly recommend all of it!

The room was large and nicely appointed. The staff was attentive and friendly. But, the “waterfront” description of the property was a stretch. It’s on a small creek that had a lot of smelly seaweed floating at the hotel property. In addition, it is located at the south end of the airport runway, which definitely affected the resort’s tranquility. I would recommend this place, but only for a night.
