8/10 Very good

The room with clean. But the paint was pealing on the bathroom wall. We didn't have any interaction with staff as everything, including check-in and check-out were done online. Parking was good, there was a spot out of the way for us to park our trailer/boat. We would use this property again for a short visit.

The Pine Needles Inn is nothing special but it is a roof over your head and the bed was very comfy. I would stay there again.

Friendly staff, clean room, would stay here again. Mattress was on firm side more than I like but that's only a personal preference.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean, the towels were new, and all the furniture looked brand new. It was clear that the hotel had been recently renovated. The place was quiet and peaceful, which made our stay even more relaxing. The staff were very helpful and attentive throughout our visit. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it.

10/10 Exceptional

Pine Needles Inn is a renovated 1970's era roadside motel. It was a good value and perfect for a overnight stop of long road trip, easy access to dinner and breakfast locations in Mt. Shasta. Stayed in a basic room, which was very clean and functional.

Great staff in a great town!
Verified review

8/10 Very good

Easy check-in, comfy bed and plenty of pillows. Minimal noise from other travelers. Shower was warm and AC worked well. I liked that there was no carpet but the floors could have been cleaned better (didn't seem like they'd been mopped recently). Traveling with our 1 year old was easy because the room was fairly baby friendly.

Budget inn surpassed expectations. Self checkin, size-able room, comfortable bed (we like a firm mattress) and convenient location, walkable to town. Great for a simple stay on your way through Mt. Shasta.
