I was 'upgraded' to one of the cottages which was pleasant although quite a walk from the main reception. The cottage was lovely with a large bathroom, lovely warm shower and a choice of air conditioning or fan - I prefer a fan to air-con, so that was nice. I would probably have enjoyed it all more, had I been staying there more than one night.

It was very quiet unless you consider the wildlife loud lol... the rooster definitely woke me up haha however it was quite pleasant knowing you are away from civilization and immersed in nature. Lovely staff, lovely room, private and secluded. Beautiful grounds. Bathrooms need a bit of work - felt a little run down and shower didn’t often with hot water (apparently to do with when it rains). Pool area could also do with some better upkeep, pumps on etc, better cleaned. Overall we had a nice time but it felt quite rustic and in need of a bit of a facelift in places.
