Beautiful location. Gorgeous sunsets, really nice pool, food was very good and the room was fine. The included hot springs were absolutely gorgeous and a highlight of our trip. I was a bit surprised there was no air conditioning in our room but realize that this isn’t widely available and wasn’t really necessary once it cooled down at night. We paid for a few of the additional adventure park activities (water slide and night hike) and they were excellent too.

Rooms very small, two towels when booked for four, only two balcony chairs, had to fix toilet twice, shower virtually none existent water pressure eventually gets hot then scalds you then goes freezing. Breakfast is bareable, place is quite run down in parts restaurants are expensive for what you get and lack any kind of atmosphere especially le jaguar.

The resort is an easy ride from Liberia, little over an hour. If you can, book one of the mountain rooms. Best location, close to all and an easy walk to El Mirador. The deck at that restaurant is the most amazing view at sunset. Highly recommend. And the food is good too. If you're in for a bit of everything, then get the day pass. Book it on their website, that's way cheaper than booking at the front desk.

It was a wonderful resort with beauty everywhere you looked! Comfy beds. Every meal we had was delicious!! I’m sorry I forgot his name but the waiter at the jaguar was so friendly! Lots of activities to do at the resort but if you don't have a car, you are limited and can't leave as it's pretty remote. There were some beautiful sunsets to watch from the el mirador restaurant. The rooms were a bit dated with a fan and no AC. There were some bugs in the room and in the area and we were bitten quite a bit.

The location is really breathtaking. It is low season so only one restaurant was open for meals (but be sure to check out the views at susnset). The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the waterslide (Tsunami speed). The views of the Volcano were wow! And the thermal springs in the afternoon (accompanied by a number of monkies above were just what the docter ordered).
