Beware Hotels.com

I don’t really pin this on the hotel as much as I do on Hotel.com. But, hands down the worst booking experience. The hotel was in remodel mode which was never mentioned so it didn’t look clean or neat and was a mess. On top of that, no fitness center, no pool. We essentially booked a room (2x) and it wasn’t even that great of a room as there was damage all over; needed new updates, etc. None of this was mentioned in our booking. The crazy thing is they charge the same price for an experience that is about 1/2 of what it normally is with construction.

When we arrived at the hotel, the entire first floor was under construction, the pool area and construction materials all over it the exercise room, the same way nothing basically on the first floor could be used our room, however, was clean and nice just very uncomfortable conditions with the remodel going on.

Service failure

Construction going on all over. Swimming pool and spa under condition wanted to have a swim and hot tub to relax but not going to happen. Msid knocking on my door at 8 am when checkout was a few hours away She woke us up .Never going to stay at this l property again.

Big remodel in reception but rooms were complete and very nice. When checking out bill showed $125 per room but hotels.com charged $299.52. Why was I charged more than the hotel? I am NOT happy about that. I have always used hotels.com and now I am questioning whether or not I continue.

We got a newly remodeled room and the shower was the best I've ever had at a motel. Unfortunately the power went out in the morning after one shower, but second person never got shower. Breakfast was great.

Not a bad spot to stay

Room was nice, you can tell it was recently remodeled. Had issues with the TV, ended up doing some troubleshooting and got it working properly. The HVAC system had a weird ticking sound that drove us crazy while trying to fall asleep. I ended up turning it off and the room was comfortable without it thankfully.
