One of the two elevators was out of service during our stay. We were on the 11th floor and management refused to move us to a lower floor, saying nothing could be done. We had to walk up and down 11 flights repeatedly. There was a long line for the only working elevator, but after waiting 15–20 minutes, it arrived full with hotel staff and laundry, leaving no room for guests.
After climbing the stairs to our room, I called and asked for ice to cool a drink and was told to use the machine on the 10th floor. It was broken, and I was directed to the one on the 5th floor, again requiring stairs.
The manager was unavailable in the evening, and we were told to wait until morning. When we finally spoke with him, he said the issue was with the building, not the hotel. He offered a bottle of water and a snack as compensation, claiming the elevator had just been fixed.
Two minutes later, the elevator alarm sounded, and another guest got stuck. It was back out of service. Frustrated and feeling dismissed, we left the hotel.
