The pictures are not accurate. The bathroom does not ave a walk in shower as shown in the reservation and the outdoor area to sit does not have the umbrellas. The receptionist staff is very young and very unprofessional.

Pulling onto the hotel property there was a man standing with an assault weapon in his pants-reported to the front desk the man working insisted the guy was military and stays on the property until I showed him the picture of the guy. We reported the light bulbs to the lamp were all on the floor, room wasn’t cleaned properly, some one left an arm brace on the floor, refrigerator (not cooling), water drained VERY SLOWLY. All of these room issues were reported-I was assured maintenance would come and clean. Still waiting! No one ever came. Not a good experience at all, little details make a huge impact. Had those little issues been taken care of the experience would have been better.

Overall the room and building was nice, however on the last full day of my stay the toilet broke. The handle broke when I went to use it and the toilet wouldn’t flush at all, it wasn't a big deal at first, I told the morning staff at the front desk between 7am-8am, he said the maintenance man would be in at 11am and he would have him look at it. I returned to the hotel around 4pm and the toilet was not fixed. I notified staff again when I was leaving about the toilet and the lady didn’t seem to care, I returned to the hotel again around 6pm and the toilet was still broke. It was disappointing to have no effort given to resolve this issue, I went through the lobby multiple times and nothing was said to me about the toilet. I don’t believe the maintenance man even looked at the toilet, so he either didn’t care or the staff never informed him. I’m Disappointed in the staff for not making this a priority especially since I gave them all day to fix it. Even if I was given an alternative option for using the restroom at the hotel I would’ve been fine with that, I didn’t even get as much as an apology.

Staf was friendly room was clean and the bedding smelled fresh and clean Coffee pot was stocked lobby was bright and cheerful Staff was always willing to answer questions New breakfast menu was delightful food was tasty but 1 more attendant helping with water coffee refills and making sure we had everything would have eased the burden off of the primary server. We were overwhelmed with the service, staff, food, cleanliness and convenience of this property. We retreated to Pensacola to avoid the major Ice Storm in North MS. From the check in experience, through our check out, we were impressed. A special shout out to Eve in the dining area/lounge—She made us feel like family—She constantly went out of her way to assure we were pleased with the morning and evening dining experiences. I feel bad that I failed to get the evening chef’s name—Also, a truly remarkable and personable person. He even shared his special dessert that he was testing to add as a signature item for the menu. The spread for the breakfast bar was far above our expectations as well as the menu choices and quality of the dinner experiences. Hats off to the entire staff of this hotel—Your hospitality made us feel like we were welcomed and all accommodations were excellent. Thank You All.
