Great historic hotel which means everything is old and creaky. No issues.

A nicely done reno on a very old building. The Mexican restaurant across the street was incredibly good! A very interesting little town with fabulous views of glaciers and waterfalls getting there.
Marie, 1-night trip

Very comfortable historical hotel with rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors offering a view of the surrounding mountains. Rooms were nice, and daily service was great. I would stay here again. Thanks.

Nice location, amenities, need better bed

There was no staff and you got a code to get in but really didn't need one as the front door was easy to enter. The property itself is nice and lots of amenities for guests on each floor. However no on site staff at all. I didn't like the bed as it was hard and uncomfortable. This was the only bed in a 14 day stint that did not create a relaxing sleep. However every things else was fine ,,, just need to upgrade the beds...PLEASE.

This is an older (99 years) reimagined hotel with walk-up access and overlooking the fairly laid back main street. The rooms remind me of college apartments: basic; not fancy; but quiet enough and functional. There were fellow motorcyclists staying there, which was fun. There are a bakery and a pizza parlor within feet of the front door. (Both the pizza place and bakery are hometown friendly and have great food).

Old, but clean facility. Electric cord covered with tape was concerning. Owner responded quickly when WiFi was out.

Clean and basic

This is an old historic hotel, as such rooms are small. There is a communal kitchen and living area for use. K cups are provided for use. Rooms are fairly basic, but all was very clean. You must be able to walk upstairs.

10/10 Exceptional

A very vintage hotel with very nice spacious rooms and large modern bathrooms. If you don't mind a couple flights of stairs this hotel is a nice experience.
Timothy, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Quaint, olde world, nice shower, bit of a trek up the stairs, bed was good. Convenient location.
Philip, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Very well equipped and spacious apartment style room with separate bath, kitchen, dining room, living room (with extra sleeping space), and bedroom. Building is 100 years old and a bit tired but reasonably well maintained for its ages of service. 23 stair steps to 1st accommodation floor. Worked well for a one-nighter but would be ideal for longer term where intent is to do one’s own meals.

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Küche Mitten im "Zentrum".
