We arrived with 2 other couples what a little gem of a place. Mario organised a staff member to meet us at the port and take us and our luggage to the rooms. We were greeted with coffees and the families own brandy( very good). Our rooms were ready by 10am, during that time we were given a talk on where to go and what to see, recommendations for places to eat. The whole place is modern with all the traditional atmosphere.
Our rooms were beautiful with all the finishing touches of a 5* hotel.. nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who made you feel very special,the food was equally 5*.
Everywhere was within a few minutes walking distance.
The 5 course breakfast was delicious using all locally sourced ingredients, the dirty eggs were cooked to perfection and delicious. ( never had them before)
The evening atmosphere was something else in this quaint courtyard. We came back from an evening out and the restaurant was busy with locals eating and Mario insisted we all had cheese, ham , coffees and local liqueurs before bed, how special was that!!
Even our airport transport was organised like clockwork and the driver gave us a history lesson on route.
We cannot recommend the beautiful place enough and will be recommending it to our family and friends
