Don't go!!

Old hotel, bugs, you can't close the door without waking up everyone in the floor. The outlets don't always work. The desk attendant didn't speak to me and took a long time to check me in. Won't go back

Best Value Inn, Clewiston

I slept really that night. I got there late evening and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The next morning breakfast was brought to my room promptly at 6:10 and those were the BEST Steak and Lobster Biscuits that I have ever had!! The Chef stopped by to make sure everything was cooked to my liking. The biscuits were great and the hashbrowns were amazing. He appreciated my excitement and he told me that the Maintenance Man had changed the oil, rotated the tires and re-gapped the sparkplugs on my 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner and now it runs better than showroom new!! I will be back soon!!

Same old, same old.

Room was better than last stay here. Sorry to see such a historic Inn, with so much potential, in the condition it's in. The free breakfast is non-existant. Toast, dry cereal, packs of oatmeal. We ate offsite.

Average low cost hotel I have briefly stayed in multiple different rooms in this hotel over 2-3 years while building or repairing my RV. Plumbing problems are common in this hotel. It’s a neat hotel in a way but otherwise unremarkable in terms of comfort and amenities

housekeeeping and maintenance needs refocuse

place is old but there needs to be a serious cleaning around all the property old table and furniture and coke machines should all be thrown away and a complete washdown of everything. but i loved our stay and will see you next sugarfest.

Stay Away even if its Free

Well... looks like it was built in 1889 and i love that so decided to try it out. Lobby is extremely misleading. First room was extremely dirty and the neighbors were drunk and fighting. Went to staff and she moved me which was great. Second room was equally dirty and some yelling from second floor but stopped after a couple minutes. 3 plugs worked and bed held together by 2x4s. You can tell no one is putting in any effort at all. Curtains dont block the 8mil lumen lights that shined into the window all night. Bed was comfortable i will admit to that. Breakfast was obsolete! Literally wouldve been better picking something out if the trash from the park across the street. I have tons of photos but hotels.com cant seem to fix their upload tab since the merger.

We used to stay here before it was bought out. It was built in 1938. It's a Barrick old historic hotel. But they used to serve breakfast. And it was kept up immaculately. Now, there's only bagels, NO COFFEE! The doors stick. The fireplace is no longer used. There's no toilet paper in the bathroom. The backs of all the remote for the tv was covered with tape. There's only one set of towels. But the area is nice. The hotel is clean. The staff friendly. Check in was quick and easy.

Common Courtesy is a must

I expect this building to be old but even or especially considering that, it is clean. I would suggest the beds be updated and hot water be easily accessible for us spoiled Americans. Curb appeal is important as it provides a first impression and the grounds should be cleaned of trash regularly. Customers checking in should be made aware the walls aren’t as thick as newer bldgs so use extra common courtesy.
