Lady at the hotel super nice , the room where clean , love there little hotel , I would’ve gave all 5 star , except my wife stayed a week , I had my boat we went to ride , fish , whatever ,go out for few hrs come back , except the guy at the boat ramp and docks , wouldn’t let me use the docks , so I had to load up and unload two three times a day , and on the third day he stated blocking the boat ramp off , so we had drive to a different ramp , defended the point of staying on the water . It’s a nice place but not fishing or boaters friendly at all . We set and watched a lot of ski boats wake boats come tie up and go to the restaurant, maybe he had something against fishing boats idk

This is the most wonderful place on the lake. We are from Iowa and drove to NC to pick up a boat. We are so happy to have found this little gem on Lake Norman! We will be back. Lovely people and great food. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere with great service...don't miss this adorable place.

Loved the lake access. The check in was quick and easy. Very nice staff here. The restaurant was had good food. The rooms need work. Our toilet only flushed every other time and hot water was tricky. At time you did not get any. But all and all I’d stay here again! Have no expectations and you’ll find the hidden gem it is.

Perfect relaxing getaway

What a great little find. A perfect spot right on the lake! We needed to get away from the brick hotel staring at an old rundown mall, so we found this little gem. The rooms look as if they have been recently remodeled! Keruig machine in room was a great touch. Basic TV but that's fine with us. We enjoyed hanging outside on the picnic bench or the chairs! Restaurant downstairs was convenient but just basic bar food. If you don't have a paddle board you can rent from here too(we had our own!). Def a nice little get away. Friendly people and even got to check in early! Publix is just down the way

Terrible stay

I stayed here one night and would not stay here again. I am not sure how this place has the positive reviews it does, because I wanted to get out of there ASAP. The description and pictures must have been taken long ago and hide the fact that the rooms are tiny, dated and unclean with the loudest air conditioner I have ever heard. If you try and save a few bucks by not staying in a lakefront room, you are punished with being about 50 ft from a road that seems to have cars at all times throughout the night. Between the extremely loud air conditioner, the road noise and the old, cheap mattress you will not get any sleep! Rooms are overpriced and should be about $60 for a "road noise" room. I cannot speak to the condition of the lakefront rooms and the overall atmosphere, but the entire place could use a remodel and clean up.
