Our stay with Bahia Principe La Romana was great start to finish. I was initially worried, because our incoming flight was delayed in Miami 3 hours. I had booked transportation from the airport through the resort, and I was worried with the delay, they would not be there to pick us up. My fears were unfounded. Although it was late, the pick up crew was there with smiles and quickly eased our minds. Arriving at the resort, we were quickly checked in with 30 minutes to spare to eat supper at the buffet before close. We then enjoyed live music, salsa dancing, and drinks in the lobby area. A welcome atmosphere after a long day of travel. We spent the next three days either on the beach or at the pool in relaxation mode and enjoying the entertainment staff, beautiful weather, and family atmosphere. Our family of five (three daughters ages 21, 15, 10) had a great time walking the beach, swimming, playing chess, taking salsa lessons, enjoying the foam party, and reading by the pool. The wait staff in the restaurants were so friendly and helpful. Make sure you get reservations to the onsite restaurants AS SOON AS YOU BOOK!! We didn't and ended up with late late meal times, but the wait staff was still very welcoming and attentive. Our rooms were clean with service each day and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely visit this resort again.
