Staff were attentive. Hotel has gym, pool, sauna and coin operated laundry machines - all located in the same floor. It’s easy to do laundry and then fit in some exercise. Location is not downtown but close enough to the train station - about 7 minute walk.

The hotel isn’t in the city center, but it’s convenient if you’re driving. Parking instructions could be clearer, especially in winter. You can’t park in front since it’s an active driveway, and the back parking is less ideal during cold weather. We had an issue entering the basement parking — the gate opened but we got stuck and the intercom wasn’t working. After calling the hotel, staff came down in about 10 minutes to assist. Reception was polite and helpful. The room itself is a solid 4/5 — spacious, clean, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spotless. The in-suite kitchen (fridge, stove, dishwasher, exhaust) is excellent for longer stays. The only thing to note is the kitchen exhaust fan produces a noticeable humming sound when running, which may affect light sleepers. The sauna needs about 30 minutes to fully heat up. Breakfast was better than expected — not a typical continental setup, but the selection was good. The waffle was crispy outside and soft inside, and the fresh strawberries and blueberries were especially impressive. Check-out was quick and smooth. Overall, a comfortable stay with minor operational issues.
