The Vicarage is an absolute delight and far exceeded our expectations. The owners and their team have gone above and beyond with the attention to detail. Our room and bathroom were exquisitely appointed - everything from lovely waffle bathrobes to oversized lush bath towels and so much more. Another nice touch are the shared lounges - one for the three upper floor rooms and another for the ground floor rooms....with complimentary sloe gin and port for a night cap. It really is well worth a visit!

Overall, the room was lovely and clean, although there were a few scuff marks that needed touching up. There is a nearby place for breakfast recommended by the hotel that is good, but most shops and restaurants are closed in the evening making dinner difficult. If you need a stop in the area, it is well worth booking for a night.
