JUST HORRIBLE

It was horrible!!!! The rooms STINK they are NASTY, MOLD in shower and on the door jams. Floors coming up, beds are horrible, three balconies are rusted and the man Jimmy in the office was very RUDE and calling people liars on how they booked their rooms and said he was going to get it from his boss cause we booked rooms non smoking and he said no one did. The ladies in the office when I was, was very upset on him telling them they didn’t book those rooms. Just an overall horrible experience there.

Bear this in mind before booking

When they tell you to keep food out of your car due to the residential bear.. they mean it! Saw that big boy the first night. A/c unit isnt consistent. Water pressure in shower is less than desirable. If you have thick/long hair, expect a long shower. Floor wasnt clean in bathroom. No disclaimer that house keeping visits daily and no placard to say you wish to not be disturbed. Parking is tight and minimal. Location is hard to get out of during high or moderate traffic. Front desk staff is not very personable. Cleaning staff is friendly and I do appreciate those women. Pool.. more like ice bath if the sun isn't out.

Not bad for the price. Great location

We added an extra day to our stay and decided to add this hotel to our travel. The lobby is small and needs a refresh. The young lady that checked us in was very sweet and helpful. The room is a typical hotel room. I love the carpets are coming out, feels cleaner and did not smell. The water pressure could use some work but did what it was suppose to.

Unfortunately, run down is the best word. Photos didn’t match our room. Visible ceiling damage in room, fireplace didn’t work, we didn’t get the original room we booked… however the staffing was nice enough to give us the room we originally booked but, the room didn’t look as pictured.

Excellent for families

Checked in late at night driving home from Florida. Guy at the counter was super sweet and friendly and upgraded our room at no extra charge since we were only staying one night. Room was huge. We had a balcony, fireplace, gorgeous views and super affordable. Def recommend!

Its ok

It’s an older hotel but it’s still okay. What can you really expect for $120 a night. There was a little black mold in the bathroom and some of the outlets didn’t work.

Decent Stay for Weekend Trip To The Smokies

Gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and gave us a spill about watching out for bears. The property itself was relatively nice. It’s definitely on the older side a could use some updating, and rooms were clean for the most part (except for dust on the bathroom vent).

Traveling with a dog

This place is a hidden gem. Yes, it is older but clean and comfortable. Very accomodating for my dog and reasonable pet fees. I was able to quickly get to the main road quickly and walk her at 5 am.

Best sleep at a great location!!

I wish I would have taken a picture of our room when I entered. It was so clean and spacious! I will admit I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews. Our room was so comfortable. We had a room with a fireplace and a balcony. The beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever had for an overnight stay. The pillows and sheets felt high quality. The temperate was well regulated. The bathroom was small but did what it needed to do for the 4 of us. We actually had housekeeping bring us fresh towels every day!! The breakfast was a fairly standard free hotel breakfast. My kids loved making the sausage egg biscuit. The property is within walking distance of downtown and right near a trolly pick up. With the heavy traffic it’s nice to leave the car behind.
