Very friendly, hard-working staff, clean room, Wi-Fi, air con, good breakfast. Great position for accessing the many eateries and the shops on Via San Vincenzo, which runs just behind the hotel or on Via XX Settembre at the front. You collect your key from the 1st floor, from the sister hotel, Hotel Bel Soggiorno then go up with the lift to the 5th Floor. My room was on the quiet courtyard side.

Very good room. Good breakfast, but small breakfast room. Ideal location in a nice road in the centre of Genova. There is no parking, but you can leave the car in Piazza della Vittoria (300 meters) for only 6 € a day.

The hotel has a different name than Riva Superior. That sign is still on the outside however. Inside it’s Bella Sogiorno. Not easy to get to, must park on a garage further away. Breakfast was basic but great cappuccino, no egg omelettes. But a very quiet place to get good night sleep. Nearby walking to many great sights in Genoa.

Situated a few minutes walk from the main piazza, this hotel fitted the bill for our 2 night stay in Genoa. Room and bathroom very small but clean and well equipped. Breakfast was good - no hot food but plenty of pastries and cereals. Would definitely stay ahain

Good stay!

No common areas like traditional hotels, otherwise just like any hotel (you just have to ring the bell at front door to get in). Clean room, silent air conditioning in the room, friendly staff and a good breakfast. I would come again! Location is very good, near both Genova Brignole train station and Piazza de Ferrari, which is a plus.

Great location of the hotel, 5 min walk to piazza de ferrari and lots of shopping. We parked our car in a parking lot also 5 min away walking. The hotel is on the fifth floor with a check in on the 2nd floor. We used gps, and had no issues finding it, though the sign on the building has a different name for the hotel but once you come to the door you can see that you're in a right place. The room was spacious and clean and well air conditioned. Would stay again.

Business stay great location

Was just for business and the room was nice and clean and fresh, jad what i needed with a continental breakfast too. Its in anothet hotel but found it easy enough. Only issue is the lift very old and have to shut the door, several times i was calling for it but people had not shut the door so it didnt move from where they got out. Air con was very good apart from the control meant it was tricky to set for the night/turned off automatically Location ideal for city and my offices

Comfort and Convenience

The Riva Superior is on the fifth floor accessible by elevator. It's part of another hotel in the same building. Other floors are for other businesses. There is a breakfast room on the fifth floor but this was not used and we used the main first floor instead. Breakfast was included and was great! Lots of options, coffee made fresh and great service, could be busy at times. Our room was nice and comfortable and the location is perfect for walking about Genoa, both for sightseeing and dining.

Hotel is not easy to find as the name on the building is different from “Hotel Riva.” There is no parking or drop off area in front of the building so be prepared. Rooms were clean and updated and the staff were extremely friendly. Not very soundproof and the hair dryer didn’t work in our room. The area was surrounding the hotel was vibrant so expect noise.
