Fire in the pit every night was awesome! Pet area and off-leash field much appreciated. Lots of stuff for kids to do. Staff were friendly and professional. However, the pool area entry through men's locker room was REALLY uncomfortable and honestly, just weird.

Our third stay at Surfcrest didn’t disappoint and looking forward to coming back! Love that there is just enough of a kitchen to cook in and yer not too far from restaurants in town. We travel with our dog and we really love the location, walking through the dunes, and the access to the beach!!

Weekend in hidden Ocean nook.

Beautiful place, lots of stuff to do on site, friendly staff. However goatheads everywhere lol Make sure you wipe your feet and leave your shoes at the door like the signs tell you!

The property began life as a timeshare community. The units are bigger than a standard hotel room and have a great kitchenette. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. Super friendly staff, nice outdoor facilities at the resort and a generally peaceful place. We were really happy there and look forward to our nexg viist.

Great place for a family adventure

This place is situated in a beautiful area and they have made so many fun things available for the family. Kayaks for use up and down the channel, campfire in the evenings, pool area with dry sauna and hot tub are fun activities. The path to the beach was flooded due to heavy rain so it was fun walking on a “boardwalk” of planks and limbs to get across the puddles. The lodging was good for 4 people, but I would say that is the max amount for the size of the space. All the beds were up a winding staircase and the bathroom is downstairs, so if you have people who use the bathroom in the middle of the night it can be precarious. Overall we enjoyed this place and they allow dogs. The people were all friendly and very helpful.

The staff was very kind and helpful. For a family resort, it was very peaceful and quiet. The stairs inside the townhome was the only challenging aspect especially for a family with young kids but still manageable. Will be bringing a baby gate next time. Great stay!!
