View wasn't worth the money

We came for the River Fire and were shown a room with a great view in the photos. But despite paying top dollarfor a room that is worth much less ordinarily we did not get the view shown in the pictures and it was not worth the price we paid. We could just barely see the river and we could see only 2 firework launchers out of the 50+. Even worse we stayed three nights but they gave the room closer to the river to a couple that only stayed one night. I spoke to them and they paid the same as us for the Saturday night. So the 1 night guests get the better room? Not the 3 night guests? And to top it all off the spa was cold. We thought maybe it would heat up so we ran it for about half an hour. But no, it just stayed cold. Considering we paid about double the normal rate based on the spa and the view I feel ripped off.

This apartment overlooking the Brisbane River is very centrally located. Just a short walk from Roma St Train station, then same to the CBD. It was spacious with great kitchen, comfy bed & all comforts of home. The staff were very friendly & efficient at checkin. Will recommend highly & stay next time when in Brisbane.
