The hotel was easily accessible, and within walking distance of everything in the CBD. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

Our room was spacious, with a lovely view of the harbour entrance, our bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure; all of which were greatly appreciated. The buffet breakfast was really nice too and had a wide range of food choices.

Fantastic clean room and comfortable.
Valet parking worth paying for as very efficiently done.
On site restaurant is great but in room dining from same restaurant disappointing. Couldn’t contact restaurant via phone, had to scan QR code which didn’t allow any alterations. Meal didn’t arrive when it was meant to so had to go to restaurant in person. Meal finally arrived double the time it said it would take and 2 main courses with only 1 set of cutlery. Very frustrating and not good enough!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay, we added breakfast for our 2nd morning. We called before our trip to ask about coeliac options, we were told that there are gluten-free options. Sadly, there was nothing marked as gluten free and there was nothing available (we asked 2 staff). We did pre-pay for 4 breakfasts so perhaps a refund is on our way.

I am writing to formally request a refund of $187 for a charge incorrectly applied to our stay as a “no-show.”
We booked two rooms for our stay—one for three people and another for two. However, during check-in, only one room was processed, and all five of us were checked into that single room. We were physically present at the hotel, and the issue only arose due to your team’s failure to check in both rooms correctly.
Despite multiple requests for clarification during our stay, we were only made aware of the “no-show” charge upon reviewing our bill. This charge was apparently due to my partner not signing in—however, we had made it clear at the time of booking that the reservation was for two rooms, and we were all present at the property.
I kindly request a full refund of the $187 as we were at the hotel and the error was due to a mistake in your check-in process, not ours.

We made a spur of the moment decision to travel to Devonport (from Hobart) so that we could then go to Cradle Mountain, after the overnight stay. The room we stayed in (2 x queen bed, port view) was very comfortable and great value ($181 per night). The only thing slightly annoying was the lack of car parking options close to the hotel, we reluctantly paid a $25 concierge fee, at least the car was secure. Overall, we would recommend. We also loved our meal at Valentino's Restaurant, which is a couple of blocks away, in the same street.

Modern newly built. The best hotel in Devonport that I have stayed in over the past 10 years. Comfortable beds, lovely decor, nice restaurants downstairs, a promenade to the river from the restaurant.The staff were wonderful. Definitely will stay there again. A great price.

When asking for assistance, knowledge of surroundings by staff was sometimes poor. Very limited Room Service. Housekeeping staff were friendly. Room was spacious. Bed was super comfortable, great night sleep. No streaming services available. Location close to shopping area. Tip: Taxi services are very limited so book in advance.
