We had a wonderful stay at Nautti Otter Yurt Village! Our cottage was cozy and comfortable, with a kitchen and private bathroom. We especially enjoyed the upstairs sleeping area, where everyone had their own individual bed. The staff was especially helpful and welcoming. A unique and relaxing Alaskan experience—we highly recommend it!

Our small cabin was perfect for us. A binder had plenty of info about local things to do and restaurants to check out. The shades in the bedroom were true black-out--we didn't need sleep masks here. The bed was also comfortable. Would absolutely stay again.

It is hostel style lodging but it worked fine for us because we were out exploring all day. The kitchen can get a bit busy but we didn't eat much there. It does have a fully stocked kitchen it you wanted to. I didn't see a grill. I think that would be a great thing to add if they don't have one.

This place is SO COOL!! Loved it. They have thought of everything. So creative, welcoming, fun to sleep in a Yurt, comfortable. The walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night wasn't even bad in mid-June when it was always light out :) Campfire for all, shared open kitchen, walkways to Yurts ... it is all just so great and so fun. Wish we could have stayed longer. The girl checking us in and always there is just awesome!!

This place is a hoot. Each "room" is actually just a small stand-alone structure: mine was a small cabin and the guy next to me was staying in one of those old '50s trailers. Bathrooms and showers are good; can either use the ones outside the main house or those inside. Really fun place. Only a few minutes north of town. Okay to cook your own food in the main house, which has 2 kitchens. Good choice to stay there as long as you don't need a big room.

It was clean all over. I chose to sleep in the little spaces with the curtains and it was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and provided help when needed. It was a nice experience actually making the waffle batter and you could make a chocolate chip version. Water was clean and tasted great. They also started a new company called “Otter Express”. They’ll save you lots of time if you don’t have a way of traveling to and fro.

I stayed in the yurt and i I’m very satisfied with it , the only thing is the floor going inside the room is very slippery even when i I’m wearing my sneakers and my friend wearing hiking boots , we both almost slipped good thing we managed to hold on to the rail. We did mentioned it to the manager. I really love their motif and I’m already telling people that I meet to stay here next time.

I checked in and only one parking spot that was posted for my cabin. That was taken,I asked the manager if I could park somewhere else. Her reply didn’t you read the check-in details. I tried to explain, her reply, so you didn’t read the check-in details. I was astounded at her rudeness. The online add made it seem like I was getting a stand-alone cabin. Turns out it was split down the middle. Could hear the person breathing next door. The cabin or call it a closet really with a bed,had a very bad smell. This was a very bad experience for me.

Arrived after an evening cruise-so around 10p, room was ready & entry was easy to find. Staff was helpful to show the way around & paper labeling info made it easy. my bed had a curtain through stairs but right below the kitchen. most people were asleep but there are no quiet hours & some people were speaking where you could hear until after midnight. Morning in the kitchen started around 0600 & there’s no chance of sleeping in past that time. Was able to take a shower at my own time & pancakes/coffee/oatmeal available in the morning. Overall a nice place and earplugs were available, but my space i wouldn’t choose to rent again.
