Overpriced for what you get

This was a nice enough place but I feel like it was way overpriced for what you get. The bathroom is tiny and if there were more than just myself and my Granddaughter staying that would have been a problem because you have to come out of the bathroom to dress after showering. The toilet stopped up during the night and so that was an issue in the morning. The only staff on site was the guy at front desk and he was laying over the counter half asleep in the morning because it seemed as though the day shift was consistently late or they just schedule them to come in later than normal. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and smelled fresh. The outlet in the bathroom did not work so you had to use any appliances needed in the main room.

Keep looking!

Uncomfortable beds, hairballs and leftovers on the floor from previous guest. Pool guests were doing the deed in the pool. Place smelled like pot. No security cameras which explains why there was a shooting right outside. Elevator smelled like it was burning. Coffee was Maxwell house and coffee mate creamer. Overall, don’t bother.

Great stay

It was a weekend stay, I got there early before check in the front desk clerk act as if she didn’t want to be at work but the other staff members was very friendly. The room was clean the tub was a bit worn probably from the dirty sand from guest feet. The view was awesome. Virginia Beach owes me nothing from this weekend…..

Easter Weekend

Came in for the Easter weekend. Got in late but check in was fast and friendly. First night we were on the first floor - kinda musty smell and a loud random noise throughout the night. Changing rooms the next morning was accommodated super easy! All staff we met were fantastic!

Probably not again

To start with, I travel frequently, and have NEVER had a copy made of my credit card, but this was a last minute trip, and due to low availability with Spring Break, had to choose a facility I would typically not book. Aside from copying my card, the front desk was helpful at check-in on a Friday, but the workers on Sat. and Sun. were snippy and arrogant. My room had been updated and was comfy, but the bathroom showed definite signs of age, with grout that will never be clean again. Balcony door lock was broken, although maintenance quickly repaired it, so I enjoyed the views and sounds of the ocean. Weekend morning coffee was at 9, missed it Sat., then made sure to be down there on Sunday, but their coffee maker was broken. Parking was available on site.

Hotels.com desperate attempt to rebook

This was Hotels.com last minute desperate rebooking attempt after my original reservation was cancelled by the property ( The Oceanfront Inn, do not book ever with them) This hotel is worn down, smells like dope everywhere even when they make you sign a no smoking policy ( room next door were heavy weed smokers in the balcony) The beds are ok but pillows for kids. Bathtub wouldn’t drain ever. Bathroom door with obvious signs of water damage. AC leaking water in the balcony. I could go on but you get the message. It’s our annual trip to Virginia Beach for the Shamrock marathon and guess what, we won’t be booking there. Thanks for the rebooking Hotels.com
