I will be submitting a formal complaint regarding my recent stay at the Quality Inn in Winder, GA.
Upon check-in, the room had not been properly cleaned or inspected. There was visible debris left throughout the room, including plastic items, a sponge, a receipt, and a dirty washcloth on the curtain rod. Additional trash was found under the HVAC unit.
More concerning, the floor had a sticky (honey textured) residue pile in front of the nightstand that I stepped in barefoot, indicating the room was not properly sanitized.
I have photo documentation supporting these issues.
This falls below basic cleanliness and brand standards expected from a Choice Hotels property. I am requesting a full refund for this stay or a comp night at another Quality Inn facility.
